Meet the Team Behind Ghost Edits — Rincón, Puerto Rico
There are two parts to this whole. On the photography side, you have Tatianna Muniz, and leading with video, Amanda Muniz.
Together, we make a well balanced team that operates seamlessly in various work scenarios. Whether we are in the studio shooting product photography or in San Juan for the week capturing a global convention, we love it all.
Our Story
Ghost Edits didn’t start with a business plan. It started with the two of us trying to make a dream come true.
I (Tatianna) was shooting photography and working in the hospitality industry in New York City and visiting family in Rincón every chance I got. Puerto Rico was a way of life that connected me to my ancestral roots.
Meanwhile, Amanda was deep in the film world after studying at Drexel University, working full-time at Hearst Magazine and foraging and tending a large garden in New Jersey.
What we had in common before we had each other: a love for growing food and for telling stories through media.
When we met, it clicked fast and it clicked hard. I was the one who talks to everyone in the room. Amanda, the one who notices everything in it. It was clear to everyone we were a yin and yang situation.
In 2022, we packed up and moved to Rincón. Ghost Edits was born out of that move — as the natural next step of combining our passions. We began planting our food forest and garden, tending to family property, and learned the nuances of shooting on a tropical island.
Since then, Rincón has taken us in. Local businesses trust us. Brands fly to Puerto Rico and call us first. We’ve become a resource for the community and we’ve managed to create a life that inspires us — capturing the businesses, events, campaigns, and moments that make this island the beautiful island that it is.
